The Croton Falls Fire Department had its busiest year in Department history, 742 alarms!

Our responses ranged from structure fires to motor vehicle accidents to carbon monoxide investigations to medical emergencies. Our 2018 responses topped the 646 alarms answered in 2017.

Additionally, firefighters spent time training each week and supporting community activities throughout the year. Community outreach included events such as our annual fire prevention visits to schools, the Booster Club's fireworks display during Homecoming weekend and events hosted by organizations including the North Salem Historical Society and the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library.

Our firefighters continue to answer alarms 24/7 in town, and in support of our neighboring fire departments, and in various weather conditions.

Here's to a happy, healthy, and SAFE New Year to all!
