Croton Falls firefighters kept busy throughout 2016 and through the last day of the year responding to three calls on December 31st. Those three calls brought the total number of emergencies responded to in 2016 to 637...the third busiest year in Department history.

While last year's call volume was a bit lower than the 658 calls in 2015, the trend in annual call volume continues to increase. The average annual call volume over the past ten years is up to 604 calls, the five-year average volume is 615 calls, and the last three years were the busiest span in Department history with over 1,900 calls..
