Croton Falls firefighters kept busy throughout 2017 answering 646 alarms, which topped 2016’s total of 637. Our responses ranged from structure fires to motor vehicle accidents to carbon monoxide investigations to medical emergencies, and made 2017 the third busiest year in Department history.

Additionally, firefighters spent time training each week and supporting community activities such as our annual fire prevention visits to schools, the Booster Club's fireworks display during Homecoming weekend and events hosted by organizations including the North Salem Historical Society and the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library.

Our firefighters continue to answer alarms 24/7 and in various weather conditions.

Here's to a happy, healthy, and SAFE New Year to all!
