On January 18, 2018 at 6:46 a.m. the Brewster Fire Department requested an engine from the Croton Falls Fire Department to assist with a fluid spill after a multi-car accident on Interstate 84. A tractor trailer ruptured its fuel tank and was leaking fuel onto the roadway. Crews contained the spill as best as possible and awaited a tow.
