Busy 24 Hours

In the last 24 hours firefighters of the Croton Falls Fire Department have answered multiple calls for a variety of emergencies throughout town. The weather may not have been nice, but it can’t stop our firefighters.

During the storm or the ensuing clean-up, the Department was dispatched to car accidents, trees down, wires down, a medical emergency, a reported explosion, an electrical fire caused by a generator and a mutual aid call for a possible structure fire in Somers.

While it's been a busy 24 hours, and a busy week starting with last Friday's nor'easter, we encourage all residents to call 911 if they have an emergency as the Department is prepared to respond and provide assistance.
