At 5:15 a.m. on Monday, March 20, 2018, Engine 147 was requested by the Carmel Fire Department to assist with operations at the scene of a structure fire at 144 Hickory Bend Road.

The original request from the Carmel incident commander was for Engine 147 to set up a water source and provide water for crews battling the structure fire. While responding, Engine 147 was redirected to respond to the scene and assist with firefighting operations as another engine from the Carmel Fire Department responded to establish a water source.

Croton Falls firefighters were on location for two hours before they were released by the Carmel incident commander and returned to Croton Falls.
