On the evening of September 17th, 2021 the Croton Falls Fire Department held its annual inspection and installation dinner at Salem Golf Course.
Each year the two firehouses select one of their apparatus to be judged in the inspection. While all the apparatus and equipment are clean throughout the year this one piece is gone over with precision for the inspection...cleaning it from top to bottom and inside and out. The Croton Falls firehouse entered Tanker 88. The North Salem firehouse entered Tanker 8. Both vehicles looked fantastic and the winner as decided by the Westchester County Parade Judges Association was Tanker 88.

During the evening the Department's line and staff officers were sworn in for the 2021-2022 term. Also during the evening:

Ex-Chief Jeff Daday Sr and Ex-Chief Gary Weber were both recognized for 50 years of active service. Both are still two of the top responders and their years of service are greatly appreciated.
