On the afternoon of Wednesday November 7th the Croton Falls Fire Department was dispatched a Reed Rd residence for a report of a brush fire. Upon arrival of they were faced with a 25Ft X 30Ft burning with the homeowner trying to use his garden hose to extinguish the flames. The fire was contained and extinguished with in 15 minuets of arriving on scene.
