On Sunday, November 17th members of the Croton Falls Fire Department along with firefighters from the Carmel Fire Department and Golden's Bridge Fire Department participated in eight hours of forcible entry training.

The day started with a lecture and classroom training which covered different techniques, tools and situations that may require firefighters to force entry into a building. Afterwards, firefighters spent four hours at various hands-on training stations working on through the lock techniques, forcing inward and outward swinging doors, and using metal cutting saws to gain access when needed.

We extend our thanks to Connecticut Custom Fire Training LLC and Flash Fire industries for providing an excellent day of training!
