The Croton Falls Fire Department had its third busiest year in Department history, 680 alarms.

Our responses ranged from structure fires to motor vehicle accidents to carbon monoxide investigations to medical emergencies. In the past decade the Croton Falls Fire Department answered 6,430 alarms.

Additionally, firefighters spent time training each week and supporting community activities throughout the year. Community outreach included events such as our annual fire prevention visits to schools and events hosted by organizations including the North Salem Historical Society and the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library.

Our firefighters continue to answer alarms 24/7 in town, and in support of our neighboring fire departments, and in various weather conditions.
