Busy Start to August

It was a busy start to August for the volunteers of the Croton Falls Fire Department.

After last week's passing of Tropical Storm Isaias and the large scale power outage that followed, our members answered over 60 calls for service so far this month. Included in our responses were multiple mutual aid requests to Brewster and several to Somers including a structure fire in the Purdys section of Somers.

Members also have resumed some in-person training and completed our annual hose and ladder testing.

As always, we're interested in new members joining our ranks. If you're interested and looking to serve the community, please stop by one of our firehouses on a Monday night or click Join CFFD on our website and download an application.
