Croton Falls firefighters responded to 658 calls in 2015, which was a 6% increase over 2014. On average, over 10 firefighters responded to each incident, whether it was a fire, rescue or EMS call. Last year’s call volume was the second highest annual total and was surpassed only by 2011 when call volume spiked due to several strong storms that hit town.

On average over the past nine years, the Department has responded to 601 calls per year. Based on the first month of 2016, the Department expects another busy year.
