Just before sunrise on Friday, units were dispatched to Peach Lake Road in the area of Cottage Lane for a motor vehicle fire. Car 2072 arrived with a well involved vehicle fire with no exposures. Tankers 8, 88, and Utility 28 responded and extinguished the car fire before returning.

Later in the morning, Cars 2071, 2072, Rescue 28, Ladder 67, and Utility 28 responded to a reported rollover on Route 116. Cars 2071 and 2072 arrived and found a truck carrying an excavator on its side. NSVAC and WEMS treated the patient while CFFD shut the roadway down and secured the truck. Units returned and responded to two additional alarms throughout the day.
