At 17:01 on the evening of Monday April 18, 2016, the Croton Falls Fire Department was requested by the Mahopac Fire Department Incident Commander (IC) to the scene of a residential structure fire on Mega Road.

Along with Cars 2071 & 2073 Croton Falls firefighters responded with Tanker 8 and MA-17.

Crews were immediately put into action assisting with extinguishing the structure fire and protecting the neighboring exposures from the heat and flying embers. Crews also started working a fire line to prevent the spread of brush fires which were started by the flying embers.

Tanker 8 was part of a tanker shuttle from the water source (located on Drewville Road at the Putnam County Fish & Game Club property) to the fire scene.

All Croton Falls personnel and apparatus were released by the Mahopac IC at 19:49.
