At 22:38 hours on Sunday night, Croton Falls fire along with North Salem VAC and Westchester EMS were dispatched to Interstate 684 for a multi-vehicle accident with extrication. Car 2073 was first arriving and reported negative entrapment and several injured parties. Car 2072 arrived on scene assuming command and requested one additional ALS unit from WEMS and three additional BLS units from Somers and Brewster EMS. Rescue 28, Engine 148, and Engine 149’s crews provided patient care to four patients, secured both vehicles, and aided in removal of one subject from a vehicle. All patients were transported to the Westchester Medical Center.
