Working Fire in Brewster

At 13:15 hours on June 11th, Car 2076, Tanker 88, and Tanker 8 responded to Brewster for a house fire. Upon arrival, Tanker 88 and 8’s crews worked to extinguish fire in an attached exposure. Due to heavy fire conditions and a partial collapse of the main fire building, members were unable to access the fire through the interior. While units were operating, Car 2072, 2077, and Engine 148 stood by in Brewster Fire Headquarters. While standing by, CFFD responded to three additional incidents in Brewster.

While CFFD units operated, Bedford Hills Tanker 5 and Goldens Bridge Engine 140 stood by in the Croton Falls Fire District.
