At 10:23pm on December 18th, Croton Falls Fire was dispatched to an address on Old Schoolhouse Road for a reported house fire with possible people trapped. While 2073 was responding, County dispatch advised of multiple calls reporting a house on fire. With the report, Car 2073 transmitted a working fire assignment. Car 2074 and 2077 arrived on scene with fire showing and all residents out of the structure. Engine 148 laid out from Mills Road and Old Schoolhouse road and arrived as the first due engine. Engine 148’s crew stretched an inch and 3/4 bumper line and began making a knock on the fire while members made entry to conduct primary searches and locate additional extension. All primary and secondary searches were negative and all fire was held to the alpha side of the structure. Car 2073 held command, 2072 managed fireground operations, and 2074, 2076, and 2077 coordinated fire attack, searches, and overhauling for hot spots. Cars 2071, 2072, 2073, E148, E147, L67, T88, T8, and R28 responded from Croton Falls.
