Croton Falls Firefighters Extinguish Rubbish Fire

On the afternoon of Sunday May 22, 2016 at 12:47 the Croton Falls Fire Department (CFFD) was dispatched to a Morris Road home for a reported structure fire.

Upon arrival firefighters discovered an 8'x10' dump type trailer loaded with construction debris and cans of paint and stain that was fully engulfed. The trailer was parked next to the garage and the flames caused minor damage to the structure and a boat that was parked behind the trailer.

The fire was quickly extinguished and crews remained on scene to overhaul the debris.
