On Sunday July 3, 2016, the Croton Falls Fire Department provided stand by coverage for the Salem Golf Club, which hosted a fireworks display for nearly 300 members and guests as part of their 50th anniversary celebration.

Firefighters patrolled the entire course at the conclusion of the show to make sure there were no smoldering fires.
