Car 2071, 2073, and Tanker 88 responded to a 2nd alarm fire in Mahopac Friday evening. Upon arrival, Croton Falls firefighters performed primary searches of the 2nd and 3rd floor apartments, as well as opened up walls and ceilings in the fire apartment. After the fire was knocked down, members went back inside to assist with overhaul. White operating, additional members staffed Ladder 67 and Tanker 8 at Station 2 in North Salem. Units operated for just over an hour before clearing.
