On Friday afternoon, Car 2073 and Engine 148 responded to Interstate 684 in the Brewster Fire District to set up for a landing zone while the Brewster Fire Department was operating at a serious motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Engine 148 arrived and assisted the New York State Police with clearing the rest area while setting up a perimeter for the helicopter to land safely. Units operated for an hour prior to returning in service.
